ForgePath Sourcing privacy policy
This policy describes how ForgePath Sourcing handles information submitted through the website. The service is an independent sourcing desk for business building inquiries. It is not a consumer storefront and it does not ask for payment card numbers on these pages.
Information the form collects
The inquiry form asks for a name, a work email, an optional phone number, a company name and a procurement note. The note may include building use, dimensions, loads, a project location, quantity, destination, timing and scope. If scripts run, an optional budget and a supplier preference are added to that same note at submission. They are buying instructions, rather than a verified factory rating.
Product cards can place a product name into the inquiry dialog. That name is part of the request the buyer chooses to send. Server logs may also record a browser address and the time of the request, as ordinary hosting systems do.
How the note is used
The note is used to understand the building request, to ask follow-up questions and, when the buyer wants factory quotations, to share the relevant project facts with suppliers who may quote similar systems. It is not sold as a marketing list. A supplier preference is passed through as the buyer wording. ForgePath Sourcing does not convert that wording into a certified rank.
How long it is kept
Inquiry records are kept while the comparison is open and for a limited period afterward so questions about what was sent can be answered. Hosting backups may retain a copy until the backup cycle overwrites it. You may ask, through the same email address you used, what note is still on file.
Sharing
Project details are shared with factories or coordinators when that sharing is the point of the inquiry. They may also be available to the infrastructure provider that hosts the form. They are not published on the website as testimonials. This desk does not claim a public case list.
Cookies and the sourcing note
The browser may store a local timestamp and a session flag so a short sourcing notice is not shown past its display window. That storage is on the device. It is not a profile of the building project. Closing the notice in one visit does not delete an inquiry already submitted.
Business contact data
Please do not put sensitive personal information into the building note. A work contact and the project facts are enough. If you believe a submission included data in error, write to the address you used on the form and describe the correction.
ForgePath Sourcing does not operate a public street counter, so privacy requests are handled through the inquiry channel. The rules for using the site are in the terms of service.
